RAY'S Fit/Feel assessment: The GRX is fairly similar to the overall structure and fit of the GR9. The GRX fits a D width with a little extra room for slightly wider feet. If you are approaching an EE width, you will definitely want to go with the GRX Wide. The big change in overall fit is the increased height of the medial side.
